Toldio helps you turn shared memories into a personal song for someone you care about. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

The short version. We collect the details you give us to create your song, your email, and your order records — so we can make and deliver the gift. We use trusted providers to run the service, we don't sell your personal data, and paid songs are protected behind private links. You can ask us to access or delete your data, or to take down a song, at any time.

1. Who we are

Toldio ("Toldio", "we", "us", or "our") provides the Toldio app and the songbomb.app website (together, the "Service"). If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@songbomb.app.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Song details. The names, memories, feelings, inside jokes, occasions and other facts you enter so we can write and compose a personal song, plus the recipient's name.
Account & contact. Your email address, and any messages you send us for support.
Order & gift records. What you purchased, gift and delivery status, and reminder preferences.

Payment information

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by our payment processors (Stripe and RevenueCat). Your full card number is entered with them, not with us — we receive only confirmation of payment and limited details such as the last four digits or a transaction reference.

Information collected automatically

Device & app data. Basic device and app information needed to run the Service.
Usage & analytics. Anonymous or pseudonymous events about how features are used, so we can improve the product.
Diagnostics. Crash and error reports that help us fix problems.

3. How we use your information

To generate your song's lyrics and music from the details you provide, and to deliver the finished Toldio.
To process payments, unlock paid content, and manage gifts, reminders and subscriptions.
To send you transactional messages — receipts, delivery links, and reminders you've asked for.
To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
To keep the Service safe, including running content guardrails, and to prevent abuse.
To understand and improve how the Service works.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. AI-generated content

Toldio songs and lyric videos are AI-generated. The details you enter are used to compose the lyrics and produce the music. We never clone or imitate a real, identifiable person's voice, and our guardrails are designed to prevent harmful, false factual claims about real people.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run Toldio, under agreements that limit them to that purpose:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), in which case we'll let you know.

6. How we protect your songs

Full audio and video for a paid song are withheld until payment is complete. Media is stored under unguessable, per-song private links, and in production we serve it through short-lived signed URLs. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission is ever completely secure.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, deliver your gifts, and meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To exercise any of these, email support@songbomb.app and we'll respond within a reasonable time. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in any such message.

9. Content about you & takedown

If a Toldio names you and is unfair, harmful, or otherwise violates your rights, you can ask us to remove it. Email support@songbomb.app with a link to or description of the content. We remove reported content that breaks our rules and make reasonable efforts to keep identical content from reappearing.

10. Children

Toldio is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. International transfers

We and our providers may process your information in countries other than your own. Where we do, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
